Hello,
You are one signature away from knowing exactly how much you've been overpaying — and what to do about it. This agreement is how we make it official so we can get to work for you.
It's straightforward, it protects both of us, and it kicks off the process of finding real, legal tax savings in your business. We take this seriously, and we're glad you do too. Sign below and let's get started.
The Initial Tax Plan
The Initial Tax Plan serves as a blueprint or roadmap to help you achieve the tax savings outlined in your Tax Plan Report. It includes the tax strategies available to you, with a detailed explanation of each strategy — including what it is, how it works, your projected ROI, impact on retirement, additional business considerations, and next steps for implementation. This comprehensive report is yours to keep, and it will be reviewed with you in detail, providing actionable recommendations to reduce both your current and future tax burden.
Services Included in the Initial Tax Plan:
-
Free Books Review: We will review your current books to ensure everything is organized and up to date. We will let you know if any cleanup is needed or if anything requires your attention.
-
Review of Prior Year Returns & Coordinating Financials: We will review up to your last three years of tax returns (if provided) and coordinate the associated financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger, to identify potential errors or missed opportunities. This review also includes identifying any possible amendments to prior returns.
-
Review of Current Year-to-Date Financials (if provided): We will review your current year-to-date Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger to ensure accuracy and provide context for planning strategies.
-
Structure Review: We will evaluate your current business and financial structure, alerting you to any issues or potential problems. If a more effective setup is advisable, we will provide our recommendations.
-
Tax Planning Strategies: We will identify strategies aimed at optimizing your overall financial position and reducing your tax liability.
-
Future Borrowing Considerations: We will discuss your upcoming financing needs to ensure our tax strategies do not interfere with your ability to fund future goals.
What the Initial Tax Plan Does NOT Include:
-
Tax Return Preparation: The plan does not include preparing or filing your tax returns.
-
Implementation of Strategies: The plan will outline recommended actions, but the initial tax plan fee does not cover the implementation of these strategies.
Initial Tax Plan Guarantee
We guarantee that your Initial Tax Plan will identify potential tax-saving opportunities equal to at least three (3) times the cost of the plan. These opportunities may apply to the current tax year or to future tax years, depending on your individual circumstances. Certain strategies may be more appropriate or beneficial when implemented in a future tax year.
A client’s decision to delay or decline implementation of an identified strategy does not constitute a failure of this guarantee.
If the documented potential tax savings identified in your Initial Tax Plan do not equal at least three (3) times the cost of the plan, we will refund the portion of the Initial Tax Plan fee that exceeds one-third (1/3) of the documented tax savings.
Exceptions and Client Responsibilities
This guarantee is contingent on the client’s timely cooperation and the accuracy and completeness of information provided.
-
Required documents: To remain eligible for the Initial Tax Plan Guarantee, the client must upload all required documents, records, and information requested by the One Stop Tax Strategists within ninety (90) calendar days after the client signs the Initial Tax Plan engagement agreement. If the client fails to provide all requested items within this 90-day period, the Initial Tax Plan Guarantee is automatically void, and the Initial Tax Plan fee is nonrefundable.
-
Accuracy and Completeness of Information. This guarantee does not apply if the One Stop Tax Strategists is unable to identify, evaluate, document, recommend, or support tax-saving opportunities because the client provides incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or untimely information, records, or documentation.
